Installation & Maintenance Precautions

1. Critical Safety Warning: Track assemblies are extremely heavy. Always use proper lifting equipment (crane or forklift) during installation and removal. Never work under an unsupported excavator.
2. Pressure Release: Before any track work, slowly loosen the grease fitting on the track adjuster cylinder to release all internal pressure until the track is completely slack.
3. Torque Specification: Tighten track shoe bolts to 280-320 N·m in a crisscross pattern. Re-torque after the first 50 hours of operation and every 250 hours thereafter.
4. Track Tension Adjustment: After installation, adjust the track sag to 30-40mm (measured between the bottom roller and the track shoe). Excessive tension accelerates undercarriage wear, while excessive looseness causes derailment.
5. Regular Inspection: Inspect track shoes every 250 operating hours for:
   • Bent, cracked, or broken grousers
