Komatsu Pump Assembly – HM400-2 705-95-07030
This pump assembly (OEM Part Number: 705-95-07030) is a high-quality replacement component designed for KOMATSU construction equipment. Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, it ensures reliable performance and long service life in demanding operating conditions.
Applications
Komatsu HM400-2 articulated dump trucks used in quarry, mine haulage and heavy construction. This pump assembly feeds the truck’s hydraulic circuits and keeps steering, hoist and auxiliary functions working at rated pressure and flow.
Compatible OEM Part Number
- Primary Part Number: 705-95-07030
We also supply other hydraulic pump part numbers for the Komatsu HM400 series and related articulated haul trucks. Send us your part number or machine serial number and our team will verify the exact fitment.
Technical Specifications
- Product Type: Pump Assembly
- OEM Part Number: 705-95-07030
- Quality: OEM specification
- Condition: New
Usage Notes
- Always confirm the part number against your machine model and serial number before ordering.
- Never run a piston pump dry – always prime the housing before the first start-up.
- If the old pump failed from contamination, flush the hydraulic system and replace all filters before installing the new unit.
- Use only the specified hydraulic oil grade and keep the oil clean during refilling.
Installation Guide
- Park the machine on level ground, stop the engine, allow the hydraulic oil to cool and release all residual system pressure.
- Thoroughly clean the area around the pump before removal to keep contamination out of the hydraulic circuit.
- Disconnect the battery, then mark, plug and cap the suction, delivery, case drain and pilot lines immediately.
- Remove the drive coupling and mounting bolts, then lift out the old pump with proper lifting equipment.
- Install the new pump, carefully aligning the drive coupling; never force the spline engagement.
- Replace all O-rings, seals and gaskets with new ones and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values.
- Prime the pump before first start-up: fill the pump housing with clean hydraulic oil through the case drain or charge port to prevent dry-start seizure.
- Check the hydraulic tank oil level, crank the engine without starting (fuel cut) for several seconds to build prime, then start at low idle.
- Run at low idle for several minutes, then slowly cycle all functions to bleed trapped air from the circuit.
- Check for leaks, verify charge and main pressure readings, and monitor pump noise and temperature before returning the machine to work.
Reference Price Range
The reference price for this pump assembly is approximately USD 2,500 – 6,000 per unit, depending on configuration, availability, core exchange and shipping destination. Contact our sales team for a precise quotation. Volume discounts are available for fleet operators and repair shops.
Maintenance Tips
- Use only clean hydraulic oil of the OEM-specified viscosity grade; contamination is the leading cause of pump failure.
- Replace return and suction filters at the recommended intervals and always after any pump failure.
- Monitor case drain flow regularly – a rising flow rate indicates internal wear.
- Keep the hydraulic tank breather clean and check the suction line for leaks that cause cavitation.
- Allow the oil to warm up at low idle in cold weather before applying full load.
- Investigate any whining noise, vibration or slow function speed immediately to prevent secondary damage.
Warranty
All products supplied by us are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
